Reminders on World Mental Health Day

  • You cannot pour from an empty cup, put your own oxygen mask on first, you know the drill: take care of yourself first.
  • Take a shower, scrub, use your fluffiest towel to dry off, slather yourself in coconut oil.
  • You have permission to rest.
  • You’re doing your best, and that’s okay!
  • You look great today and every day (but especially today).
  • Prioritize. Act accordingly. Say yes to the important stuff and say no to everything else.
  • It’s never too late to start over or change it up.
  • You are enough.
  • You’re freaking killing it.
  • Ask for help.
  • Be gentle with yourself.
  • Think about what could go right.
  • Call a friend and ask them about their day.
  • You cannot heal in the same environment that made you unwell.
  • Find a therapist near you.
  • You are so incredibly strong.
